The Capitol Hill Competition is a time-honored tradition that takes place during the annual Credit Union Cherry Blossom Ten Mile Run. This competition is sponsored by the Credit Union National Association (CUNA), the National Association of Federal Credit Unions (NAFCU), the Congressional FCU, and the United States Senate FCU and is designed to showcase the fitness of Members of Congress and their staff.
Some of the most spirited competition each year is for the prestigious Capitol Hill team title. There are separate categories for Senate and House teams. 29 teams consisting of approximately 500 Hill staff and Members of Congress vied for the honor of adding their name to the perpetual trophy this year.
